Our family business originated in 2008, which focused primarily on small scale residential projects. Over time, Eastern Coast has evolved into seasoned design-build construction management company and division 6 self-performance with significant experience in federal and commercial projects of all types. Additionally, our twenty years of Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) Contracting Key Member experience makes our team a low risk winning choice. The Marshal Ridley Mixed Use Project in Newport News marks a major milestone decades in the making, with Eastern Coast Construction self-performing all Division 6 framing across the 200,000-square-foot development. Featuring over 175 units—including townhome-style cottages and mixed-use spaces—this dynamic project blends residential, retail, and office areas to foster a vibrant, walkable community. Strategically located on 18th Street & Jefferson Ave, it reflects our commitment to building sustainable neighborhoods that enhance quality of life and stand the test of time.
At the heart of Virginia Beach’s Atlantic Park, Eastern Coast Construction is providing Division 6 framing across 300,000 square feet of mixed-use space, supporting the development of a one-of-a-kind entertainment and events district. This vibrant, year-round destination will feature a state-of-the-art wave park, live entertainment venue, creative office space, urban residences, and unique dining and retail—celebrating the spirit of the East Coast surf scene.
As part of phase one of a multi-phase renovation at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, this 11,000-square-foot project focuses on the renewal and repair of the Preoperative Surgical Services Department. The broader effort spans 109,879 square feet and includes upgrades to 19 operating rooms, patient recovery areas, and support spaces. Additional work includes the construction of a new Central Procedures Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and administrative offices—enhancing care and efficiency for patients and staff alike.
As part of a joint venture with SAW Contracting, this project at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story in Virginia Beach involves the removal of interim relocatable facilities and support structures for the 728 A–F MCSCG trailers. The work supports ongoing efforts to enhance facility readiness and improve long-term infrastructure at this critical military installation.
At Naval Support Activity Northwest Annex in Chesapeake, VA, the Building 7 Galley Concrete Freezer Pad project involved the construction of durable concrete pads and the electrical configuration for two outdoor pad-mounted freezers. The work required seamless coordination across excavation, concrete, and electrical teams to support essential galley operations and ensure long-term functionality in a mission-critical setting.
The Naval Special Warfare Development Group Building 250 project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art facility designed to meet the specialized operational needs of one of the military’s most elite units. This project will support mission readiness through advanced infrastructure tailored to demanding performance and security standards.
The full renovation of a 4,000-square-foot industrial machine room at CEP 200, located within a historic 1940s-era warehouse at Naval Station Norfolk, supports the servicing of mission-critical fleet components. Work includes concrete and masonry upgrades, new drywall, wet and electronic fire protection systems, and medium voltage electrical improvements. This modernization enhances the facility’s operational reliability and ensures it meets the evolving demands of the world’s largest naval station.
