Project work flow

At ECC, we have integrated the U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Three-Phase Quality Control System into our construction workflow – not just for federal projects but also for commercial. This standard has proven to be successful on all projects because precision and compliance are non-negotiable.

How It Works

This happens before work begins on each Definable Feature of Work (DFOW).

Review plans, specs, and submittals for the DFOW.
Verify materials and equipment meet requirements.
Inspect site conditions and ensure prerequisites (permits, safety plans, etc.) are in place.
Hold a preparatory meeting with your team, subcontractors, and QC personnel to align expectations.

Conducted at the start of work on the DFOW.

Inspect the first installation or initial work to confirm it meets specs.
Verify workmanship and that the crew understands the requirements.
Document findings and correct any deficiencies immediately.

This is ongoing throughout the work.

Monitor daily activities to ensure continued compliance.
Verify corrective actions from previous phases are effective.
Document inspections and tests as part of your QC records.

Pre-Construction

This phase includes constant monitoring and interaction. We keep an eye on budgets to ensure the lowest costs, stay on top of schedules for timely delivery and work closely with the design team to create your vision.

Construction

Working with trusted subcontractors, we keep them accountable throughout the entire build. From sequence to production and quality control, we stay focused on the goal. Our division 6 internal workforce makes our wood construct team a step above the rest where our quality control and successful past performance make our team a low risk choice.

Post-Construction

The last step in any build. This phase includes site cleanup, systems training, final inspections and move-in coordination. After completion, we have a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction.
